Unless people break the law, the government doesn't have the right to round them up and relocate them against their will.

I mean we do this for weed. You don’t think homeless people are breaking laws.

I’m not saying rounding people up for smoking weed was ever a good idea, but these people are doing illegal drugs. Indecent exposure when you piss and shite in public. We literally round up non homeless people for these acts and relocate them to jail.

So I don't expect a response but are you happy with how things are going? Please enlighten us all regarding on how America is coming back. The floor is yours - instead of you dealing with lingering TDS, post some actuals. The board is waiting.

Congrats on your mental illness and inability to see any reason if it comes from someone that isn’t left or woke enough for you.

I'm not arguing for letting homeless people use the streets for their bathrooms, or for camping out wherever they choose.

But as law currently stands, you cannot detain or seize people who aren't committing a criminal act. The folks smoking weed who you point to were knowingly breaking the law. You can argue it's a stupid law, but that's immaterial. Scooping people up and relocating them against their will is a civil rights violation.

About the only thing you can do is have local authorities establish laws outlawing camping on the sidewalks, under bridges, etc. and establishing punishment for it

When did he say they would be rounded up? Sounded more like camps should be made available

You think they'll go to a government run camp, where they can't panhandle and do drugs, voluntarily?

There are entire camps of people shooting up and defecating in and on public streets.

They are breaking the law.

So basically people want areas that are intended for public use free of vagrants.

Know what this does? People worth a shite move and those areas deteriorate.

I too was fed up with the crime and seeing homeless dudes sleeping on the streets not far from my house and encountering them every time I go and buy groceries. I moved, and I’m not the only one.

So yay, let’s keep our cities shitty because a bunch of people choose that life.

He stole this idea from Philippines President Duerte who put out an executive order making it legal for citizens to murder drug dealers. Great idea. I am behind it.

I’d rather let them destroy the west coast and NYC first.

Hard times calls for hard choices.

He's exactly what we need in these times.

Which is why he will never be allowed to hold office again.
