Yeah, who wants to go back to the days of record low unemployment, booming economy, soaring stock market, no new wars, little to no inflation, $2 gasoline, stocked store shelves, sanity on the southern border, and Middle East peace agreements?

Have to agree with him. Camps would enable them to be safe and probably fed properly.

^This. And while they’re there put them to work doing things like cleaning up trash and cutting back the grass on roadsides.

Nah. This cultist behavior was around long before Biden came into the picture. And as a lifelong Republican who voted for Biden I can confidently say I don’t give a frick about the man.

Interesting to see him abandon the black vote so early in his campaign

Gee. A leftist who lacks the moral compass to differentiate between the innocent and the guilty. Will wonders never cease.

Neal Boortz used to float the idea of converting unused military bases into areas where homeless could go for shelter. Use the residents to handle landscaping, teach them how to maintain the buildings, cook, clean, etc and let them be relatively self-sufficient.

I always thought that was a reasonable proposition.

Total fantasy.

First of all the homeless would NEVER relocate willingly.

Secondly, good luck on getting them to voluntarily do a days work (there are exceptions of course).

Third and most importantly, the Left would never allow these Political pawns to better themselves.

So you think we should setup tent cities for the homeless in the suburbs?

Wow a ton of kneejerk responses.

Most municipalities have laws on their books on loitering, vagrancy , public camping, obscenity, littering, and public drug use. Most cities can't enforce these laws because they are overwhelmed with the homeless.
Many of the homeless are homeless because they chose to be, have drug problems, or they have mental issues.
These new homeless camps that the President is proposing would benefit the homeless because they could get mental health counseling, drug addiction rehab, job training and placement and other benefits ,like a shower and a safe place to live. This would provide people a hand up and not feel like they have been discarded by society.

Drug pushers are not providing a positive investment to society. They wreck people's lives. Life in prison for them.
