I think I was pretty clear about what I have an issue with. You were so ready to "bash me down" you didn't even realize that I offered a compromise. I did not speak dishonestly, you just don't want to believe what I have to say.

Maybe people are waking up to the fact that there are a million better things to do with their free time, than sit and watch a bunch of culcha chase a ball?

Based on the actual revenue numbers posted in this thread, it seems that viewership might not be the best proxy for health of the NFL.

What else is being politicized by NFL players?

Absolutely. Had a cookout and everything.

It's a shame you didn't have as good a evening as I did. Because clearly, here you are.

No, you weren't. In your first post you said

quote:

Honestly, I want to watch but just can't. I want to share the experience with my sons....just football.

Then later you said the other issues that weren't football you "didn't have a problem with"

See how you were dishonest in your original post?

Another record year of revenue for the NFL.

Y'all got 'em right where you want 'em.

He's such a normal guy

He can't stop talking about shemales. I mean, how often do normal people talk about trannies obsessively?

You must be a lefty based on your illogical way of thinking. I want to watch football with my sons without having to get into a discussion about why I think the players' kneeling is hypocritical and disrespectful(we have these discussions at the dinner table). I disagree with their current stance so I don't want to give the NFL any positive ratings until the players re-address or the NFL re-addresses the issue. I don't have a problem explaining why a player is wearing pink cleats. I also don't have a problem if they don't wear pink cleats. That issue is not political to me.

I don't think you can extrapolate those numbers. It WAS the Falcons, after all...

Right. I understand.

But that's not what you said. Do you agree that it's not what you said?

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen a player kneeling on TV during a game. Most games don't show the National Anthem.
