This is so wrong. One Democrat of TWENTY ONE that opposed the civil rights act left the party and became a Republican.

Blacks had historically been aligned with the Republican Party before being excluded from politics in the region.)[3]
The term "Dixiecrat" has sometimes been used by Northern Democrats to refer to conservative Southern Democrats from the 1940s to the 1990s, regardless of any views expressed about white supremacy or segregation.

We're getting down to the nitty gritty, folks. I read an article that in Ft Walton Beach, Trump and Biden supporters parked out on opposite sides of an intersection with signs and megaphones to show support. No reason at at all. Just felt like yelling at people
