For the past year I’ve honestly believed that the president and vice president could not be a resident of the same state. In fact I learned it here with source material.
But after googling, apparently this is highly nuanced surrounding the 12th amendment and there is a lot of confusion.

You are probably right because Tim brings in a lot of GOPe money and it makes the GOPe feel like they have an in. However once in, Trump needs to understand that the only reason Tim is VP is to sabotage his presidency like Pence and make sure to keep Tim at arms length form important stuff.

He’s not picking Tim. It was in SC so Trump used that to get the crowd going. You really have no common sense. Just like Trump didn’t name DeSantis, the audience did and Trump didn’t look happy when Laura read it off.
