The hardcore Trumpers and hardcore Desantis fans are going to recoil at the thought of reconciliation but burying the hatchet is best for both of them and more importantly best for the GOP and the 2024 election.
Best of all, this is a sign that Trump may be, just may be, interested in doing what's needed to win rather than indulge in his own personal grievances and simply reward sycophants.
