My doctrine if I ever became prez:
You install socialism in your country (whether through democracy or iron fist) America will overthrow that socialist govenrment

People are literally starving down there. Venezuela is teetering on the brink of "failed state" territory if it hasn't already reached that point. Socialism is what destroyed that country's economy and yet idiots want to see that economic system reign supreme here in the United States.

I wouldn't mind if we gave weapons and intelligence support to a military coup, as long as China doesn't see repayment of their debt. Otherwise, Venezuela can burn and China can lose that loan repayment.

Agreed. I wouldn’t be opposed to us just sending the military in and taking over. Make Venezuela a US territory and appoint a military governor. We use oil there to pay for the whole thing and tell anyone that has a problem with it to frick off
