I guess we're on board with mass migration from the third world now? I thought we opposed it but Orange Man Shouldn't Be Held Accountable.

DHS Secretary Nielsen Extends ‘Temporary’ Amnesty for South Sudanese

quote:

Despite the TPS program being designed to be temporary, eligible South Sudanese nationals have enjoyed amnesty in the U.S. since November 2011.

quote:

Nielsen’s extension of TPS for South Sudan comes just a week after the Homeland Security secretary announced that she would extend TPS for more than 300,000 Sudanese, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and El Salvadoran nationals living in the United States.

Trump Requests ‘More’ Foreign Workers as Southern Border Gets Overrun

quote:

For a month, Trump has made requesting more legal immigration to the country — beyond the already historically record levels of more than 1.2 million new legal immigrants a year — part of his stump speech.

quote:

The comments are a direct rebuke of the president’s commitments in 2015, 2016, and 2017, where he vowed to reduce overall legal immigration levels to boost the wages of U.S. workers and reduce the displacement of America’s working and middle class.

Three Times the Illegal Immigration of 2017 Levels at Current Rate

quote:

Princeton Policy Advisor Steven Kopits now projects that illegal border crossings for this calendar year will be more than three times what they were in 2017 and nearly double last year’s total crossings.

quote:

Only about 40 miles of replacement fencing have been built since Trump’s election, although about 124 miles of new wall and replacement fencing has been approved by Congress. This month, about 14 miles of new wall is expected to be constructed in southern California and some new portions of a wall have been constructed in the El Paso, Texas region.

Catch and Release, Birthright Citizenship, Sanctuary Cities Continue Unaltered Despite Trump Opposition

quote:

The Catch and Release program, though, was expanded by Trump last month when he signed a spending bill approved by Republicans and Democrats in Congress and strongly supported by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

quote:

About 99 percent of border crossers and illegal aliens who are put into ATD programs and released into the interior of the U.S. are never deported.

quote:

While Trump denounces birthright citizenship, he has yet to sign the executive order ending the policy which he vowed to sign in October of last year.

Yes, There’s a Crisis at the Border

quote:

More than 76,000 migrants were apprehended crossing the southern border last month

Trump brags about that but won't admit this...

quote:

There is no mechanism to return these migrants home, to hold them after they cross the border, or to remove them once they are in the interior. And word has gotten out.

I dont think anyone really knows what's going on. I spoke with a fellow yesterday who tells me he has been a U.S. "resident" since 1985 but Honduran citizenship. Now incarcerated with an INS hold due to a domestic battery charge. Since 1985 really? Resident? Maybe someone can enlighten me as to what type program he falls under. Sweetheart of a guy, fwiw.

this country needs more workers than you would think. Construction is getting killed by people not wanting to show and/or just ride the tit.

In the past 2 to 3 weeks i have hired and fired 5 people and I typically only run a 5 to 6 man crew. one never showed up after getting the job, one was out two days in his first 6, one was out 2 and late 4 in his first 10 days, one quit after being late 4 times and out once and another didn't show up. It is quite amazing that people work so hard to get a job that they don't want to bother showing up to.

I didn't say illegals. i said workers in general. I can't have illegals on my jobs because I have to run all my guys through e-verify to be able to work on state jobs (about 90% of my work).

To keep wages down.

For most U.S. workers, real wages have barely budged in decades

quote:

In fact, despite some ups and downs over the past several decades, today’s real average wage (that is, the wage after accounting for inflation) has about the same purchasing power it did 40 years ago. And what wage gains there have been have mostly flowed to the highest-paid tier of workers.

quote:

After adjusting for inflation, however, today’s average hourly wage has just about the same purchasing power it did in 1978

You are right to be pissed.

Not sure what more Trump can do when his own party is too cucked to protect the border and reform the broken system.

He's getting no help from the establishment but doesn't seem to be helping himself either.

Practically everyone who supported him and his agenda since day one has been run off and vilified by both he and his supporters.

Ann Coulter
Steve Bannon
Jeff Sessions

Meanwhile his administration has been staffed primarily by Never-Trumpers and Democrats.

Jared Kushner (D)
Gen. Kelly (D)
Kirstjen Nielsen (N-T)
Marc Short (N-T)
Nikki Haley (N-T)

This is what the people currently working for him are doing according to a Fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies

quote:

US Asylum officer to me: We are under orders to grant credible fear in the high-90 percentile to all migrants with children and releases within 10 days. The fraud coaching is so rampant and obvious that 75 percent of my team has quit in disgust. Orders from high USCIS officials

So you want more illegal immigration and less legal immigration? There seems to be a lot of jobs open in the US right now . It would be nice if we could get the lazy people on welfare to take those jobs .

Trump can’t win with democrats. He is racist for wanting to lower the number immigrants coming to this country and now he is bad for extending the work visa for immigrants.

We want less immigrants period. We want the problems in the US to be addressed, and not to be patched with millions of brown 3rd world people who will destroy our cultures and communities and vote sold blue.

I want the guy to said he was going to put America first to GET THE frick OUT OF SYRIA, to stop the "gotta protect Israel" bullshite, and to address the massive, international conspiracy to silence right wing voices with something other than a tweet.

It might be the only thing that matters today.

AOC was only elected because her district became majority Hispanic. Her district largely was the 7th district in NY before the lines were redrawn. In 2000 39% of that district was Hispanic. In 2010 the number was 49%.

Her politics aren't unique to her. The entire region of Central America and most of South America more closely resemble her vision than what is traditionally ours.

We're letting in, whether legally or illegally, about 1 million people from the third world a year. For the past 30 years!

It won't be long before there are a lot more districts that look like hers and then there will be a lot more AOC's until they have enough power to turn us into Venezuela.

He is for more legal immigration, under a points system similar to other countries.

If we get educated people legally, they wont be taking US IT jobs for half the pay, because their employers will not be holding their h1b visa as collateral while paying them shat pay and using them to replace citizens.

In addition to the numerous lies in this thread, the one that "higher ups are telling us to give asylum status at over 80%). Heres an actual stat....

Last year, judges decided 42,224 cases, a sum that exceeds 2017’s tally by 40 percent. It can take years for an asylum case to be heard in court, and most of the cases in question involved applicants who arrived well before President Donald Trump took office. This year, judges denied asylum in 65 percent of such cases....

So 35% actual approval versus your more than 80%. Id refute the rest of your bullshite comments but its a waste of time.

We will always need foreign workers because there is a segment of the population that will always refuse to work.

Congress needs to do it's fricking job and fix the problem. But they are more concerned about votes than they are making us a well oiled machine.
