Designating groups as foreign terrorists has to do with rolling up their financial side. Actually *in fact* taking up arms under the law of armed conflict is what turns someone from a civilian into a combatant.

I'm sorry -- this very cheap public boasting over execution-style small-potatoes "drug-perps" is conspicuously over the top and disproportionate imo. How about an occasional capture of said "drug-running" vessels to confiscate and showcase proof of booty, and issuing a warning?
To be demonstrating an actual concern over "drugs", maybe Trump and Hegseth's boys need to re-calibrate this course of action and focus on Mexico? Or instead, on rooting out the existing heavy-duty drug domestic cartel action already operating openly, with near-impunity in US urban neighborhoods?

You're okay with the government killing suspects just because the government says they're guilty of crimes? No proof? No trial? No presumption of innocence?

You do realize that they have solid Intel about these boats right? Surely you don’t think that they are just shooting boats out of the water for the hell of shooting boats out of the water
