Personally, I kinda like the idea of putting retired Drill Sargents in the classroom as teachers.
Phuk these pansies and snowflakes. It's time to put kids back on the right track, learning consequences for choices, and learning to be forced to do the shyte they don't like to do.

It’s not difficult. Several states give parents the tools to choose the best options for their kids education, whether it be private, public or home school. You empower the states, you empower the parents, and you start finding out who wants to take advantage of educational opportunities and who is a useless dumbass

A homeschool mom with a $500 budget does a better job than an inner city school district with thousands of dollars per child

The department needs to be bulldozed and start over at minimum. There’s so much waste built into that budget with 0 return.

State entities are already running every meaningful aspect of it now. The federal DOE exists to employ a couple hundred thousand useless people and introduce general mandates and standards that don’t fit most of the systems they force them on.

You forgot to mention that DoE also acts as a laundromat for all the millions being paid out to the far left woke actors spreading the plagues through the schools.

Why do the feds need the DOE? It’s too large and too progressive.

The fed was never meant to include this.

I’ll look for the chart that shows how much money has been poured into the department of education and the scores have not improved…. Wasted money. Incentivize education and watch scores improve.

As a teacher, I love this proposal! States can educate children effectively without being micromanaged by the DOE.

I love Trump, loved Ron Paul (who also proposed this). Saying that, I'm against this. I believe in less Federal gov't, but not with security and education. The amount of illiterate people collapsed once D of E came about.

Wow..I love it. No sense that Rural Oklahoma should have the same Principle of education as Say Detroit Michigan. Especially if standards are lowered for specific Federal Funding issues.

I remember it wasn't that long ago that Trump said he wanted to increase Dept of Ed's budget.

K-12 students should learn American history and civics. If you don't agree with this, you are against the U.S. and wish to change the the ideals and direction of the country. If you support anything else you are a sham and disrespectful of all of the patriots that sacrificed their lives over the years.

You didn’t listen very well did you? Did he not tell you where the US ranks education wise. Around 40th. So why in the world would you want things to stay the same?

Think about the freedom your school would have to operate in a sane fashion without having to worry about the OIG from the Dept of Ed sending you a letter because you suspended a kid who was a Native American (that you didn’t know was a Native American).

The Dept of Ed is a cancer.
