why are so many Islamist traveling from NOLA to Chicago?

I'm guessing. But it might be Biden Era remnants. They could literally pick wherever they wanted to go and hop a flight.

Chicago is what we call a "hub". There's a lot of trafficking that goes into and out of Chicago. That might be my second guess.
The trafficking means organization (to at least some degree) which might be my first guess.
Tho it could be something as simple as a layover point.
I'd have been nervous and anxious as hell. Expecting them to try to take over the plane.
