If tweet fails to load, click here. TLDR: Americans took the easy way out empowering and building up China at the expense of weakening the US just to save a few bucks.

He sounds kind of like Ross Perot back in 1991.

$40 trillion in national debt.
20% of our annual budget now spent on debt interest.
$2 trillion structural annual debt.
Trump and Bessent and digging our national grave deeper and deeper.
Another cycle of Republican fiscal frauds.

Sad thing is to some of us this is just common sense, and pro-American.
Sadly for way to many it's not. This is the msg our dept of education needs to make sure is taught early in schools.
We need this kind of of hard messaging and action when it comes to immigration too. We full and overflowing. Need to clean it up and send back.

I would love for him to be nominated as vice president the liberals wouldn’t know what to do with a gay man running for that office as a republican

I personally wouldn't go that far. He is good in this financial role as it has absolutely nothing to do with the social fabric of our society. But once it gets into that realm. I'd have an issue with his lifestyle.
Our society doesn't need to promote that lifestyle as a positive.

"consumption as a measure of prosperity"
Thank you Mr. Secretary.
Many will remember how bad it was when 'W' had to tell the country (after 9/11 attacks) to continue their lives of consumption. I was saddened by what we had become.

That is true but it sounds like he is blaming citizens for what our government did.

Well everyone was all on board for taxing the living shat out of American companies and siding with unions every chance they got......so capital flowed out of the US just like water, the least path of resistance.
Now the same people are screaming about tariffs to keep it so.

We can celebrate it like the Democrats do for their "firsts". It will piss them off that they weren't able to.
