Three of my four kids live in Huntsville. It has a huge leftist population. The defense and rocket industry make you think it’s conservative but it’s mixed. Half the population are transplants.

Absolutely agree with the conspiracy charges, but disagree on the weapons charges. 2nd Amendment applies to everyone despite their horrible views.

Doug Jones (running for governor) and Stacy Abrams just held a rally Sunday afternoon at Mars Music Hall. Many older type people shown in pictures there.
For every one Tuberville sign in Huntsville there is like 100 Doug signs.

Huntsville has, for a few decades, had a large liberal population, as well as a decent sized population of punk rockers etc. Food Not Bombs and Antifa were organizations started by leftist punk rock activists. Sad to know my hometown is bing infiltrated by the Transtifa commie terrorist brigade.

Huntsville always seemed odd politically to me. Historically has had a conservative, almost libertarian-type dominant political culture despite most of the jobs there being somehow tied to government spending.
It makes sense that it's starting to look like NoVA as the federal presence there increases.
