In Texas, high school students have to compete as their birth gender. Sounds great for guys trying to swim with girls but there are at least 2 wrestlers I’m aware of who were born female but are several years into transitioning to males. Their hormone therapy has given them male musculature and their bodies look totally different than the bodies of the young women they compete against. There is always talk in the stands but no one has spoken up about it. Yet.
