Sure they do. Longer arm length, larger hand size and greater strength. Two of the three will drastically increase velocity and the larger hands give greater control over ball movement (riser/sinker/curve)

Most women and a lot of men were giddy when a female could play on a male sports team. A female even kicked a field goal for Vanderbilt in a college football game.
