And yet people have locks on their doors, because protection against various ills are typically multi-layered. Living in a nice neighborhood isn't stopping someone from breaing into your house. Neither is a locked door, a barking dog, an alarm system, landscape lights, etc etc etc. Yep, you can point at any one of those and technically it's not going to prevent a burglar. In the real world, combine all of them and you're not likely to get robbed.

89 miles is a wall from Slidell to LSU ... that is a pretty significant amount of wall ... lots more to go, but I assume they are targeting the highest impact areas needed.

The fact that anything beyond “studies” and that structure is already being built is an amazing accomplishment itself. (How’s that diversion canal coming along? I think we’re at 30 years and not a foot of dirt removed.) Also, Trump is fighting decades of activists judicial appointments, the MSM, never-Trumpers, environmentalist, globalist, etc. I’m honestly impressed that he gets anything done. Look how little most presidents get done and that’s with, at least, most of their party’s support.
