one more thing. I bet that an NBA player who is a Trump supporter is afraid to speak out. What does it say about the NBA when a player is afraid to voice the "wrong", unpopular opinion?

And all this talk about slavery and being victims. Basketball was invented by a white man.

Trump will be too busy winning to have them at the White House anyway

What is the difference between Stan van Gundy and President-elect Donald J. Trump?

Kerr really pissed me off

"I am afraid because, he hasn't said what he will do"

What the frick? He has been campaigned on policy the whole time, that's a bullshite answer. Thank the media narrative for that one

"Hard to walk in a room with my wife and daughter, because trump has basically disrespected them this whole time."

His fricking campaign manager is a woman... If he hated women that much you think he put a woman in charge of his campaign?

They just pick and choose what to get offended or scared at.

If Trump wore white socks, that would be racist to these clowns.

So you make an assumption someone is afraid to speak out, without any evidence of this, so that you can justify some criticism or the NBA's culture.

The slavery talk is ridiculous, BUT I don't know what James Naismith's race has to do with it.

I mean clearly there has been an absurd overreaction to the outcome, and people will get over it and go on with their lives. But I'm sure there would have been some ridiculous overreactions if Hillary won too.

Kerr should worry that Luke Walton pushed his shite in the other night and he choked a 3-1 lead to a interm coach

Because with out James Naismith, who knows if these guy are doing for a living. They wouldn't be banking 7 or 8 digit salaries.

The point is that when a white man create something that these players benefit from, it's cool.

But when a white man do something they don't agree with, it's racist.

Brandon McCarthy, major league baseball player and poster on Tigerdroppings had some pretty bad tweets about it too. And I like Bmac.

Don't bring your facts in here. We have emotions to let out.

Why would anyone listen to millionaires who play basketball ? This is politics, they have nothing to lose. These guys should take care of those around them and STFU. Actions speak louder than words.

Well yeah.

Muslims invented the numerical system that we use today and were major contributors to early Arithmetic and Algebra, not to mention a number of other scientific achievements.

So since I happy benefit from their work, does this mean I can't be critical of the bad things Muslims have done?

Not that I agree with the original statement, but that's a LOT more vague. The "Muslims", (not sure it was Muslims) didn't create calculus or the laws of physics.

And actually, math originated from the Greeks. Pythagoras, Zeno's paradox, pythagorean theorem, geometry, Pascale triangle.

Frick these idiots. White, black, frick them. WTF do they know or care to know about politics and what this election has done for the citizen that drives this country. I can assure you that we'd be just fine without professional athletes with the IQ of my 4 yr old. The working man from the very top to the very bottom just won and that's alllll that counts. Plz plz take your talents over seas. Last I checked basketball is very very popular in China

Dude, this was an actual aspect of this election. Why would this not exist in their world also?

Yeah. But they established our numerical system and some of the foundational aspects of Arithmetic and Algebra.

My point is that we can benefit from the contributions of person A, but that doesn't want can't criticize person B, who has nothing to do why person A, except for some characteristic.

I don't agree with the slavery stuff regarding professional sports, but the race or Dr. James Naismith is irrelevant to the issue.
