Donald Glover was the worst star in that movie. Kind of biased because I think he's annoying to begin with, but this film didn't change that.

The audience reviews are scathing.

Main Actor has zero draw as Solo and Lando's new sexuality twist is a no go.

When Kathleen Kennedy is gone, I'll consider paying to see another Star Wars movie.

It was boring. The only good thing in the movie was Chewbacca. Han was meh and the others just phoned it in. I was so disappointed with the Kestle run.

quote:

Not as outwardly offensive to fans as The Last Jedi, but still far from a good movie. If it wasn't about Han and Lando, this would be another addition added the generic, sci-fi movie pile

quote:

This is just another sad chapter in the tragedy that is disney owned Star wars...This one is the most boring of the bunch so far, btw

quote:

Ok film but SJW politics ruins Star Wars. The first 6 episodes were about the heroes journey, about good and evil, not feminists rights or sexuality rights.

Of course the critics love it.

Yeah.

And the dudes in solo are all 5’9 on their toes. Ford and billy Dee were both 6’1

And cool
And likeable
And they can act

All the actors were fine in that movie...Glover surprisingly sucked. But yeah, the story and the acting aren't the reason it was a disappointment at the box office (mind you, it had the biggest opening every for a memorial day weekend)...simply put it was a story that no one wanted to see. If you are going to do Star Wars stories independent of the main film line...use some god damn imagination and come up with completely new characters.

But that would mean taking a chance, something disney simply does not do.

the obi wan movie of the years between 3 and 4 is a good idea, but that should have been about the only rehash.

Telling the stories of the jedi in Luke's new order probably would have been the better route then the one 7 and 8 took.

It would have made purists happy and allowed them to sjw it up.

Hated TLJ, but Solo wasn't that bad. Woody Harrelson did a great job.

That writer can GFH, though. Contemporary politics makes for bad branding.

The only part where I thought, "Predictable" was having 23 & me's kid sister be the badass marauder or whatever they were.

The whole chick fu thing gets tiresome in general.

can't wait for the Black Widow solo flick, ScarJo is so gonna kick arse!

he was, but he also followed luke around and protected him. had to deal with his family who didn't like him.

there was a whole part where he went to save luke from sand people and almost gave into the darkside like anakin did in 2, but overcame it.

he also encountered maul in the desert for their final interaction

there was a lot meat there to chew on

Eh.. Vader's out there being the GOAT badass, and we get to watch Ol Ben frick with some sandpeople?

It's ridiculous that we probably will never see Vader at the peak of his dark power.

Solo kinda reveals that it's not the sand people that Obi Wan will be dealing with

The new Vader comics are pretty good for that, although the argument could be made we'll never see Vader at his true peak power because half of his body is still burning on mustafar
