If the republicans nominate someone falling off the right side of the planet, they will get swamped. They can beat Hillary if they can take the center. But if they kill each other during the primaries and push the party off the wall bye bye. Battle between McCain let's invade everywhere and the Rand Paul let's be an ostrivh and stick out head in the sand. Need a happy medium How>? Who?

Yep. All these people calling for hardcore right-wingers are just asking to be crazy butthurt come election day. Tea Party candidates are getting their asses chapped my mainstream republicans right now. They'd get raped in the general.

And then throw in Cruz to have them fighting to out teabag each other. It should provide for some great entertainment. They have an uphill battle to out crazy the '12 primary but I think there's a chance especially if you get an evangelical like Huck to run

There's little to learn from Obama's share of national white votes, imo. You have to break it down by region. In the upper midwest, pacific northwest and new england, he won the white vote outright. In the Deep South, where he didn't bother campaigning, he lost by historic levels.
