Turns out that missile strikes aren’t enough to overthrow a regime and change the culture of a country. Color me shocked.

I never expected this to be quick. Iran is not a small country and the IRGC is pretty entrenched. Going to have to root them out. I do think the aerial bombardment will have to slow down before the populous can take the streets and fight.

This was not one of trump’s better decisions I have to agree.
At some point, Israel should be grateful for our assistance and we should withdraw our troops long before then. After that, Israel may have to go solo.

We will be there more than a year. This regime has had power for 47 years. If anyone thought this was a 2-3 month ordeal then you are a retard. Also, if you thought that we weren't going to have a ground presence, then you are a retard.
Also, this is 100% a regime change and it's perpetuated by Israel. We will be involved until the government of Israel has who they want in charge of Iran. The extremist in Iran know this. They also know that they will not get immunity if they put their arms down and will be killed by the IDF if they surrender. They are going to fight until the last missile is fired or the last bullet is shot because they know they are dead either way.
