It's becoming clear that there was a coup.

It was successful.

And that makes their argument valid?

I’d give you a lot more credit if you just admit that you want to change the rules to favor “your side”.

You already admitted that “normal voting rules” are what republicans are trying to enforce. Therefore we are fighting over how democrats want to change our normal voting rules.

If you want to change the normal voting rules the burden is on you to prove that there was no fraud. You can’t just point to record vote totals and say “see this is a great thing”.

You can, but I promise you will regret it. Democrats getting burned on short sighted win now tactics is a broken record.

So democrats changed the voting rules because of a pandemic and going back to normal voting rules is Jim Crow 2.0?

I live in Alabama, a state where Republicans control every lever of government at the state level. Our voting rules were changed, yet no accusations of fraudulent votes or irregularities. Almost every state made some changing to their voting rules in light of the pandemic. Some states made some changes before the pandemic even hit, namely Pennsylvania enacting mail-in voting in late 2019. Something some republicans in that state are working to reverse because they didn't like the results of the 2020 presidential election.

None of this addresses the question.

The claim is that republicans are engaging in voter suppression and enacting laws that would restrict voting.

The fact check is that republicans are trying to enforce the normal voting laws that were present prior to the pandemic…. Is that true or false?

Pretty simple

your representatives (all Democrats) could do what Texas Dems did and get on a plane and fly to DC for a tax payer funded vacation to prevent the other Texas lawmakers from doing what they were elected to do. Which is actual voter suppression.

But I’m sure you are aware of this story and fully support the Dems.

True. We should switch to a system that has infinitely more issues.

If that's what you want to call it.

Georgia made it really accessible.

The changes were made by the republican Secretary of State, not the legislature. Besides, I don't think there are enough Dems in the state house to prevent a quorum like in Texas.

The attempted coup was the fraudulent election in some swing states. I don't know if it was enough to change the results of the election yet, but it's clear that they got sloppy and are being exposed because of it.

So I welcome voting laws that prevent outright fraud.

He was a successful in spite of opposition from the left, his own party and the media. Obama was the opposite of a uniter.

Milley eliminated all doubt about his 'Wokism' when he did that sickening thing in front of that congressional committee. Imagine a Pentagon general recommending soldiers read Mao Tse-tung, Karl Marx, and Vladimir Lenin. I was appalled.

In the meantime recruitment to the Armed Services is taking a nosedive. Seems the people who provide the sons and daughters to defend us, are fed up with the Milley types. That be the same people 'Woke' Democrats love to hate.

So Mr. General Man, who are you going to use to fight your wars? LGBT and Tranny recruits?
