It is doubly scary that a lab cited as being dangerously sloppy is fooling around with anything so deadly.

This is why there are protocols and regulations to follow, in the Western world. They don’t give a shite about safety in these communist countries, and are too careless with what they’re doing. They were careless with the handling of covid in the lab, and like the article said, there are way more lethal viruses that they are studying on in that lab. They care more about public image, than the well being of humans.

They definitely have a more dangerous virus. We’ve got the smoking gun that Covid came from that lab. The big question is what else are they hiding in that lab. That lab scares me way more than nuclear holocaust at this point.

Just so people understand the more lethal a virus the less chance that it has at becoming a pandemic. By its very nature the more lethal the more it self quarantines. Ebola was a good example. Sure it was deadly but it was naturally easier to quarantine. People that are infected with deadly viruses are generally not roaming around spreading the virus asymptomatically. They are laying in bed trying not to die.

I wouldn't support vaccine mandates or masking even if there was a super contagious virus with 80 percent lethality. in the case of covid, it does nothing because the virus isn't going to go away. in the case of a fictitious super deadly, super transmissible disease, it would be useless as well.. because all the hosts would die. all of them.. humans need to have a gut check moment and realize that we can't control, stop, or prevent everything.... or really.. anything..

What’s been lost in all the vaccine debates is if they can design the first virus - how easy would it be tweak the virus to be super deadly in response to OUR response to the first virus?
Essentially the vaccines become a laser designator for future attacks.

And this week we approved of funding $125 million more dollars in that lab for gain of function research. If you don’t say “Oh my God” after that, you don’t know what gain of function research is.

THAT and the argument mistakenly personifies the virus and assigns goals to it via the propositional fallacy affirming the consequent.
It is quite possible a virus with an 80% fatality rate could exist and yes it would die off…but what does that have to do with the population it dies off with? The argument fails because WE could be that population.
