Best way to stop illegal immigration is to kill the jobs. Fine the employers.

$1000- fine for 1st offense

$10,000 for offense 2-5

$25,000 per- for 6+ offenses

anyone (including illegals) reporting such offense gets 10% of fine paid by the employer.

Neither Republicans (it will hurt many businesses) or Democrats (don't want 12+ million gone in 3-6 months.) want this.

They should do it in conjunction w increased work visas, tax on remittance (could pay for the wall several fold) - and it won't be popular here- but I think they need a way to let a lot of them stay permanently- but without citizenship, voting rights, etc.
Republicans will never get a better time to get most of what they want. Otherwise, the next Dem in office could make executive orders in the wrong fashion.

You are just playing dumb. They=ICE. and you know as well as I that illegals have fake SS numbers. The employer obviously puts a profit over patriotism. Flush them out.

Let me make sure I understand you. You are suggesting that ICE randomly walks into a business - a business that is E-verifying and 100% in compliance with all I-9 requirements for all potential employees - and starts auditing that company’s employees legal status?

And if that company happens to have an
Illegal working for them that slipped through all of the compliance protocols that were established by the very government auditing them, that the owner should go to jail and the company should face severe fines?

If that’s what you’re suggesting…WOW.

Not even sure the IRS is that onerous.

That's what BATFE essentially used to do to gun dealers and 4478s, etc., right?

Why not just change the law for being here illegally such that it became a felony with a minimum 10 year prison sentence?

You know no RINO will vote for that.

How many illegals do you have working for you? Have you ever driven by a construction site and see 50 or so Hispanics working? I would bet some of those companies are even helping the illegals get fake SS cards. No company is going to open up their employee records by walking in randomly. Authorization can be had with probable cause.

This is how it's done in Gulf Shores

if we did it, the "wiring" would just go off the grid.

Well, we tracked hundreds of millions in cash leaving the MSP airport in suitcases and didn't do shite about it

Stop paying illegals to be here. Cut off EBT, section 8, Medicaid and Medicare and no free health care (pay in advance).

Doing this will cause those are not contributing to leave.

I don’t always agree with him but it’s refreshing how professional Homan is about his shite. So many in this admin are not, especially some of the past DHS clowns.

I can only assume that Companies helping illegals obtain fake SS cards is currently illegal. Maybe I am wrong, but I’m a pretty sure I am not.

Look, we can all agree that getting illegals out is a good goal.

The issue I am at odds with are the dumb asses who think that “just fine them or jail the owners” is a good idea. Now if an owner is willfullly hiring illegals that is one thing. That is an “easy” thing to fine and/or jail.

But if you have ever owned a business of any size whatsoever, you would know what happens when you have to deal with an IRS, EPA, or OSHA audit. The bureaucracy is a painful and costly thing to deal with, and now we are adding another layer of bureaucratic mess to deal woth.

I’m all for your penalties etc PROVIDED THAT IF A COMPANY HAS CLEAR PROTOCOLS IN PLACE, that they are completely removed from any potential fines or criminalization.

And if ICE audits a business with such protocols in place and finds nothing, the business can invoices the government $10,000 per employees audited as compensation for disrupting business activities.

Why target American citizens?

Why not just change the law for being here illegally such that it became a felony with a minimum 10 year prison sentence?

It would work just as well and you're targeting illegals instead of Americans.

Because then every illegal is entitled to full rights due in the criminal justice system. How are we going to afford to give every illegal picked up a lawyer? for example.
