Do you guys believe they'll eventually find something on Trump?
If so, what for?

Not sure. I think a LOT of people around him are going to be indicted.

If Trumps people get indicted...the Obama/Hillary crew ought to be next.

Write every possible charge on pieces of paper and put them in a hat; start drawing shite out

It’s all a wait and see situation. Right wingers on this board demand that the future be foretold by profits and seers. We just all have to wait and see.

Aiding and abetting the coup against HRC.

This is the US government we are talking about. If they want you to go down for something, they will find it.
I'm not sure if Trump himself will ever be indicted as I think their whole goal is to simply destroy his reputation. Like another poster said though, people around him will go to jail because those people don't provoke a visceral response in Trumps supporters.

If it's a bullshite charge like "Tweets that obstructed justice" there will be a monumental price to be paid by midterm democratic candidates.
However my guess is that Mueller will find at least:
- Federal election law violations
- Money laundering (through decades-old Russian mob connections)
- Tax fraud
We Dems knew that Trump was a money-laundering, mob-connected con artist back when everyone thought he was one of us.

If this is true, why did y'all love him so much? If you knew he was such a crooked person, don't you think it's aiding and abetting that behavior? What does that say about the democrats and their integrity?

Not sure. I think there are several potential charges on the table for them, but I'm not privy to the evidence so really have no idea. My guess would be campaign finance, money laundering, and bank/wire fraud mostly.

Interesting on the tax fraud. As no disrespect: do you think that’s really a likely charge? It occurred to me when I read that, that he’s been audited every year for almost a decade (or at least claimed it). Do you think it’s likely Mueller finds something the IRS missed?
Secondly, all those charges have no connection to the campaign and collusion, the stated purpose of the SC. It’s an obstruction of justice cause of the blue dress kind of case then. That didn’t exactly help the GOP in 1998/2000.
Personally, I think the most likely charge will be obstruction or perjury, from something that hasn’t happened yet. Probably when he takes the stand in a few years and gets asked about some sexual conquest.

A better question is this.
Can any of them admit that quite obviously, the 2016 surveillance of a political opponent by the incumbent party was clearly out of bounds?
Back in 2016 to early 2017, these people said, "well, they wouldn't have surveilled if they didn't have a STRONG reason to.
Well. Um. If they had strong evidence then...........we wouldn't still be doing this silliness in April of 2018.
The bottom line is, our outgoing admin corruptly used the intelligence apparatus to attack a political opponent and their entire party is 100% fricking OK with it.

If you've ever dealt with an IRS agent you'd know this would absolutely by likely.

This and they also said it was a lie. We can go back and find tons of threads calling him a liar and media stories saying that his accusations of surveillance weren't true.
Now we have gotten this far, and it turns out those accusations were very true, plus more, but everything's totally ok. Outgoing admins spy on opposition all the time and it's perfectly acceptable.

The investigation will not find anything. And it will continue until Trump is out of office.
Establishment politicians have far more to gain by the investigation continuing than ending, even if something is found.
