What’s the point of flying a worthless humanoid robot to Mars? How much money to send an robot for…reasons?

The funny part of this post is it's obvious you don't really want an answer. You're not even remotely interested. It's just your derangement syndrome manifesting itself

What I was thinking too, the moon is a great place to practice, stage supplies and honestly launch from, takes a WHOLE lot less fuel to leave the moon's orbit than it does Earth's.

What’s the longest a human being has ever spent in space?

What’s the reason?

I don't speak for Elon Musk or his plans but I do have the intelligence to contemplate dozens of ways using the robot on the first trip could be useful. And if I really want to know the answer I will seek it out. I don't do like you've done and act like you already have some all-knowing ability to discern there's no possible reason to do it. What's your specific level of expertise to be such a fricking a-hole? Answer none

What’s an Optimus robot that needs a a Tesla engineer in a haptic suit to operate it going to do on the surface of Mars?

I’m assuming SpaceX will be sending the crew habitat and all that type of stuff up there before hand to pre-stage it?

I feel like they would have to. There may one day, in our lifetimes, be some people orbiting on a station that orbits Mars, getting it ready for the group that will actually set foot on Mars.

your arrogance is enjoyable. You seem to think that just because you don't have a good idea of why Elon Musk would send it therefore there cannot be a good idea. It just makes you look stupid

I know why he wants to send it there. He wants to start a human colony on Mars. It’s the height of Elon Musk’s bullshite.

That 9 month estimate was a generalization. It depends on when the launch occurs and planet alignment. I stated an actual example, Europe Clipper, which was launched on a Falcon Heavy in mid October 2024, and reached Mars on March 1, 2025. That was 4 1/2 months.
