Are you illiterate? Op said media should stop lying...For media and Dems to stop lying, it would be like asking them to stop breathing.

Biden had not announced at that time - had not even declared any intent to announce.
Good Lord, WHY do people keep saying this?

Biden announced his candidacy 25-Apr-2019.
Trump spoke with Zelensky 25-Jul-2019 ... three months later.

Did some talking head on Fox say it, making it part of the Trump Gospel?

To be clear, I am not accusing Bandit of intentionally lying. He is a straight shooter, and I suspect that he genuinely believed this nonsense to be true. At the same time, it has been corrected numerous times, and the response from Trump supporters is uniformly downvotes and refusal to do a simple fact check. Instead, they repeat it. Why? because Trump supporters so-much WANT it to be true.

Response: “But he had not yet won the Dem nomination, so he was not yet a rival.”. 3...2...1...

I hate the use of the "digging up dirt"

Its not trumps fault quid pro joe is corrupt as they come and guilty as OJ.

He's not digging. Its all there. He just wants all corruption dealt with and to show the public who the real enemies are.

Instead of “digging up dirt” would you feel better if they said “trying to find bad things about him”?

Nothing Trump did was “outside of the proper channels”?

This is the biggest BS lie of all...

In fairness, it IS a poor metaphor. “Looking for dirt” would be more accurate.

Trump sought to “investigate his political rival”. That premise needs to be rejected flatly, because it implies that Trump wanted to investigate Biden because of their political rivalry (which really doesn’t even exist because they’ve never run against each other, and it’s not clear they even will), instead of the fact that just maybe the Biden’s were doing some shady things in the Ukraine. It’s just such a silly line. That and their other line that the President seeks to “influence the next election for his benefit”, which they are actively doing now. It’s just nuts.

I agree with you, but I think you left out the most important part.

Biden's alleged actions came when he was VICE PRESIDENT. In this context, Biden should be viewed as the former vice president...not someone running for the Democratic nomination.

I would assume if an American is engaging in corrupt practices in another country, you would start with the state department, then the justice dept.

Trump had access to a world leader. It's self explanatory that he should directly communicate with that leader and request that the leader provide information to our Department of Justice.

Biden is a mess. He's a punchline. It's hilarious that the hill you are willing to die on is related to Joe Biden being a threat in an election to Trump.

Bush-43 and HRC were not political rivals.

Pelosi and McConnell are not political rivals.

Obama and Trump are not political rivals.

Good Lord.

What, exactly, was "outside proper channels"?

Biden's alleged actions were when he was Vice President of the United States. Suggesting that he's shielded in some way because he's running for the Democratic nomination is ridiculous.

No, I’m not willing to die on a hill for Joe Biden.

Nixon didn’t need to break into Watergate to spy on the DNC, he would’ve won the election anyway... but he still did it.

Sure.

So lets see the documents, hear from the witnesses, and put this shite to bed.
