NASA bill is headed to the Senate after passing in the House.

Spoiler Alert: It’s the Federalization of Elections. Non-citizens can vote. Taxpayers have to match 6-1 campaign donations under $200 raised (example: AOC raised $18 million this way all under $200 - each donation. Now multiply that by 6 with our money). And much more.

Kat Cammack (R) - FL with the 13min summary; Warning Facebook Link

Summary

The actual bill - H.R. 5746

Here’s your Senators phone numbers. It takes 2 minutes to leave them both a voicemail.

Fixed it for you. Call your senators. Unless you agree with what is in it. Or I’m totally misinformed. Let me know if the latter is the case. Or if there is some other more effective course of action.

All this does is allow debate.

Wait what? Did they repackage the Voters Rights bill named after that black racist that died and give it a fake name?

Don’t forget the Federal government gets to gerrymander all 50 States.

If it passes, do you think that constitutionality case will be concluded before mid-term elections?

It sounds like Dems overhauled this so it wouldn’t need 60 votes. How anybody can still take Democrats seriously is literally astounding to me. They go SO FAR out of the way to not abide by the rules or play fairly, it’s honestly disgusting. And why the two parties will never see eye to eye. One screams out “you’re going to cheat and break the rules” WHILE cheating and breaking the rules, and have the audacity to think it’s ok.

What happened here as far as I can see is:

NASA needed a bill for more leasing opportunities. House passed the bill for NASA, which sent it to the Senate. Senate passed the bill for NASA (which is the key part here) at which point it went back to the House. Once there, House Dems then STRIPPED all the NASA provisions (what the whole thing was supposed to be about) thereby completely disregarding NASA all together and replaced it with Voting Rights BS under the guise that since the Senate already “approved” this voting measure, that it wouldn’t need the 60 votes anymore in the Senate, just a simple majority. And their Voter Integrity farce would be forced through.

Any rational person, I don’t care what party, cannot see that and feel good about it. That’s so far out of bounds that the House Dems should be reprimanded. Sickening honestly. How low they go to cheat and carry out tyranny is honestly disturbing.

No.

Still needs 60 votes to proceed to a final vote for passage.

only way it passes is if they change the filibuster rules

This is why SCOTUS didn’t hear any of the current election cases.

H.R. 5746 had already passed the House and Senate, so the amended version could go directly to the Senate floor without the threat of a filibuster from Senate Republicans, who oppose the voting rights legislation.
IDK, but this excerpt from the summary seems to suggest it doesn’t need 60 votes; just 50. I wouldn’t think completely changing the language in a bill already voted on would be allowed but who knows.

If it passes, we will lose the constitutionality issue. Congress can pass it and will be legal because the Constitution gives them the power to do this. We need to defeat in the Senate which will happen because it won’t get 60 votes.

Does it still need 60?

On another note, the traitorous RINO’s May pass this, you know...to support NASA.

ETA: If this were you pass, when would *President Biden sign it?
