Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.
The swamp won, big time, and now they are putting out this narrative so that history won't look askance at the historic vote totals for such an uninspiring candidate.

Makes it easier to see the truth when you do this.
I had a recent “aha” moment when the Democrats said that we should all be terrified that Trump would run a shadow government from Mar a Lago consisting of friendly Republican governors.
And I said to myself, “Oh. The last four years makes a lot more sense.”

This. It wasn't necessary to steal the election. They could take a ton of legal means to get people to vote. When you can vote from bed, the dregs of all dregs can vote like never before.
And we know who the dregs vote for.

This of course involves the fabulous proposition that vote harvesting is all legal and above board.

Their religion dictates that they must flaunt what they do, to rub the faces of those subjected to their machinations in their power.
Projection.

The crazy part is that Time thinks this is a perfectly rational, reasonable, heroic article.
Progressives believe they have morality on their side and can do whatever they want, and it's justified.

Exactly, they wrote this because they believe the ends justified the means.

AND it provides easy cover for fake ballots.
I really don't see where we go from here.
The most likely answer is that we all recalibrate our expectations and learn to live under leftist hegemony. Best-case scenario is a new "center" that is much further left than we were dealing with when Obama was elected.
It seems certain at this point that no one who isn't blessed by the _____ will be President again and that Congress will not be allowed to shift back to the right. So I guess we hang our hats on the hope that the _____ will let us have our freedom, for the most part.

The epic melt continues. At least Hillary and her supporters moved on.

quote:Is this satire? They've spent 4+ years since the 2016 election trying to oust the winner. The article in the OP is literally about how "shadowy cabals" of people pissed that Hillary lost in 2016 got together to change laws, manipulate information, and steer media coverage to rig the results of the 2020 election.
The epic melt continues. At least Hillary and her supporters moved on.

What date did they move on?
Or maybe I should congratulate you on coming out of your coma? Traumatic brain injury? Best of luck to you.

First of all, they didn't (still haven't). Second, they had no basis for their "resistance". Trump supporters do.

The winners get to tell the story
The winner version would be something like "we won because all of America wanted us to win. We won fair and square."
Talking about the cabal... and then bragging about how the elites manipulated the peasants and changed the rules to get their way... that's fricked up. Idc which part of the political spectrum you're on.
I imagine most Democrat voters will read that article, and not even realize that the article is making fun of them. For how easily they were manipulated by the true elites of our country.
The manipulation + no covid19 relief + no covid19 plan... Democrat voters were even more of a victim than anyone else. They were manipulated and then believed promises, that Biden has no real intention of fulfilling, even with Democrats having total control.
Added: Biden needs to fulfill his covid relief and covid plan promises. Those are the most pressing needs, as they relate to countless individuals and families in our country. If Democrats and Biden have a legit response to those issues, then put them all on the table. Stop playing games. This shite of giving Republicans until March to come up with something, before they come up with something is despicable. Countless families are about to be homeless or without power. And these politicians(gop/dem) are just playing around, trying to dunk on each other. Smh.

I quit reading Time after Matilda wrote that hit piece about Derek and called him a "model idiot."

True, none of that stuff is illegal, per se.
However, that last comment you made... I actually agree with it to some extent. But No matter how much Trump, the man, May have turned off some people who'd have otherwise support him, it doesn't explain how those people could possibly choose the alternative. No sane person who was even just "okay" with Trump as a president could willfully support Biden. There's just no way. They'd just stay home instead.
But they didn't do that obviously. Trump got ten million more votes than in 2016, while supposedly losing votes in only one demographic... that being white males.
The way I read your comment, you're implying that there are millions of people out there who mostly liked Trumps policies, but they hated his persona so much that they went out and supported the opposite instead, rather than just stay home. I can't buy into that.

Not only that, but by voting against mean Trump they were voting for Antifa, BLM, socialism, radical left.
I just dont see many "undecided" voters going that direction.

Extremely weird. After silencing almost everyone about the stolen election. This Pelosi activist details how it was done using dem friendly verbiage.

Unless 80 Million Trump voters all suddenly have the gonads to take whatever action is necessary to solve the problem themselves, nothing is ever going to change.
