Tell us who the alternative would have been. The Republicans have not had a decent leader in either chamber of Congress since Gingrich. It almost makes you think that outside of the 10% in the freedom caucus there's nobody else to pick from.

I never liked McCarthy. This isn’t about Trump. To be honest. I can’t think of more than about two or three congressmen I would talk favorably about.
Since you have to bring up Trump in every conversation…the odds of him endorsing someone not currently part of the swamp is zero.

The GOP offered a bill a long time ago.
The DEMs are the terrorists refusing to negotiate and using default as a leverage (and talking) point to try to refuse spending cuts.
Also, the default will only happen if Biden allows it. He can pay our obligations by using money from federal admin/agencies. He refuses to offer this so that he can create stupidity like the meme you just posted.
