I have bought ads on other SM apps
Facebook is horrible for targeted advertising and does not have as diverse of a user base. Posting videos there is a horrible overall unfriendly experience as well. Much harder to go viral and get views without paying for them.
YouTube/Google ads are expensive and also much harder to go viral. Their algo is going to send you videos from channels you are subbed to first making it hard to get noticed organically. Most people use adblock on YouTube or pay for YT Red to not have ads.
TikTok you can build a business practically free or very low cost due to it's algorithm and short-form video format. Their algo is more likely to show you different videos more organically than YT of FB. They are also ad-friendly.
Twitter/X is not known for videos
