The vast majority of voters, including independents, do not have a college indoctrination.

That’s why Trump has received more votes than any Republican this century.

I agree, probably not. Although RFK's impact on the race is much more dependent on what states he does end up being on the ballot.

I'm pretty sure No Labels will be on the ballot in every state. They've already committed 100 million to the race. The only question is who runs on the ticket.

Who is the enemy, in your opinion?

Very serious question: assuming Trump gets nomination (almost 100% guaranteed) - can Trump win general without DeSantis supporters ? What percentage of republicans can not vote for trump and he can still win general? I've asked this multiple times without an educated response

It would only be the very small minority of crazy Desantis supporters at issue in that regard, and yes, he can win without them.

That's the problem with Trump. The ONLY appeal that he has is that he isn't Biden. Literally nothing else to really get excited about.

Trumps best hope is most independents stay home, and Dems split the ticket.

So by your estimation, the only way Trump wins is if three dems running split the vote. One hasn’t even declared and the other isn’t on the ballot.

Not at all. Trump would beat Biden head to head if the election were held tomorrow. Zero doubt in my mind on that.

The unknowns are the popular vote, electoral college numbers, and what may change in the next year. I personally believe RFK and Manchin in the race help Trump significantly over the course of the next year. Others disagree, that's fine.

It's an easy calculation to me... are more Republicans turned off by Trump or more Dems turned off by Biden. And barring a substantial change economically, when someone goes to step in the voting booth, I think a lot more people are holding their nose and voting Trump as opposed to Dems who will have very easy alternatives to Biden if they are adamantly opposed to Trump.

This is wild to me. Trump has the best chance of getting the nomination. He always did. People trying to tear him down have made his support stronger. He’s the one that people are collectively saying they want to challenge the enemy, yet there are people that claim to have the same enemy, but seem to still want him to fail against that enemy. There is like zero awareness of the big picture there.

I know I shouldn’t invest so much attention to this brief political moment but it’s just to hard to look away. It’s also coming from a bunch of posters that I consider to be some of the best on the site.

The anti-GOP nominee propaganda is strong in here.

It’s funny watching the same mentally ill individuals melt daily.

*consider this your reminder that Trump will be the nominee.

Now, continue melting.

No way.

Y'all have done a 180 on polls. 4 years ago they were fake, now they are real.

I can guarantee you Trumps internals are not as rosey.

What about the state Congress?

MAGa mouth breathers use Congress as a continued excuse for Trump’s lack of action.

People like you that spent their entire lives supporting and advocating for the GOPe, who are now begging for a life long dem that expanded federal authority more than any president since FDR to save them.

It was you and Trump that created this environment. Don’t cry like a bitch now because those that believe in federalism and limited government are playing by your rules and telling you to frick off.

Would be hilarious if Trump dropped out and you people had to support Nikki or Ron.

I'd pay extra to post on TD that day.
