But killing them isnt wrong...lolol...

It 100% will stop those particular boats and those particular smugglers.

That's exactly what I said in another thread when jbird said we usually let these guys go after interdiction -- we don't have legal authority to arrest them, but we have legal authority to eliminate them from the face of the earth?

Yeah, this whole thing is beyond normal reasoning. Everyone is rushing in to fill in the blanks with a new excuse.

I expect some of them are going to claim that somehow all of the Congressional races in every state were rigged by some mysterious, but powerful coordinated effort.

Trump spends more of his time attacking Republicans than he does Democrats, then wonders why he doesnt have vast congressional support.

I agree. Drug boats is just a start to what they want to do. I'm hoping some in congress have been briefed.

There are definitely some republicans that are a part of the uniparty deep state. He should be going in on them.

Gaza and Ukraine, as money laundering avenues for politicians of both parties and for our largest industry - MIC - is coming to an end.

Venezuela is the new Gaza Ukraine.

Now, you change my mind.

If that's the case, it would make a whole lot more sense to go after Mexico.

Well that is just stupid. The 2 tasks are no way comparable.

Why would I do that? Seems possible. Both can be true.

MIC is probably the most on board with Trump of all the deep state actors. I'm sure they prefer someone they could control better and won't mind at all when he is gone though.

Of Course. Mexico is far more involved with actual Fentanyl so it makes sense we would attack Venezuela. Perfect sense

In this instance I believe the CIA is the primary culprit. They have the history. I doubt the MIC is tied up in basic recon. MIC deep state people are behind desks not in the field.
What?

You think the MIC too busy “sitting behind desks" to conduct recon? The Department of Defense runs most of the U.S. intelligence community. If you’re imagining a couple guys in cubicles while CIA does all the real work, you’ve got it backwards.

DoD controls ten intelligence agencies. DIA, NSA, NGA, NRO, plus the intel branches of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, and DCSA. They handle satellites, signals intercepts, drone feeds, maritime surveillance, targeting, and tactical recon. The people tracking drug routes at sea are almost always Navy and DoD intel units, not CIA field teams from a movie.

CIA is much smaller and focuses on clandestine collection and covert action. DoD is the one that deploys analysts and collectors worldwide and supplies all of the reconnaissance you’re talking about.

It doesn't get more 'Deep State' than the MIC.

It's fun watching them trying to shoehorn protecting our backyard into something other than "America first"

I think the cartels do all the real work and elements of the CIA launder the money and provide bits of intel to them to avoid detection/capture.

I clarified what I meant by deep state in the OP. I don't think the MIC is involved in the drug smuggling. I'm sure they want to go in for their own reasons. None of that wall of defense operations you posted really addresses or disproves the theory in the OP though which is what I would like to focus on.

Do you believe the MIC is involved in the drug smuggling?

I find it hard to believe bad actors in the US aren't the ones having their bankroll targeted.

Occam's razor dictates that the people complaining the loudest are the ones that have some vested interest in seeing the drug trade continue.

Begs the question, why isn't France ,Netherlands in particular not stopping this if it is about drugs since in that area the drugs are much more likely to be headed to Europe

This isn't about drugs

He’s in lockstep with Lindsey Graham on this issue. Graham is the deep state.
