He had turned things around, though. On the night in question, he was on the way home from a church small group meeting. His sinuses were bothering him and he had accidentally taken a double dose of NyQuil, thus the appearance of intoxication.

Yep, that body cam video gave me a completely different view of some of these situations. Those cops did absolutely nothing wrong and were just protecting themselves.
I actually feel bad for the cops, you could tell they had no interest in harming Brooks, they just wanted to get him off the road.
