Boomers are age 57-75

Millennials are age 25-40

You keep blaming boomers though.

Either way, comfort is the problem.

No, but enough are, and they reside overwhelmingly in places of influence like education. Come on, You guys complain about this nonstop on this board and I agree with you. You can’t deny it now when it doesn’t help your argument.

The millennial may have failed in personal responsibility but the baby boomer parents lack of discipline has spoiled the child. So both baby boomer parents and the millennial child hold the blame.
I don't disagree. But to argue that millennials somehow want more personal responsibility but are prevented from having it because of "boomers" is silly.

That's the thing about PERSONAL responsibility. You create it for yourself--it (by definition) can't be delivered to you on a platter. That simply isn't how this works.

I don't pay my bills every month because my parents tell me to. I didn't start my company because some "slient generation" person told me to. I just... did it.

Not sure what point you’re trying to make. Those age ranges show exactly what I’m talking about. Millennials are mostly the children of Boomers with a little GenX thrown in at the end.

Wait. Your argument for a bunch of idiots demanding the government take care of them is that they weren’t taught they should take care of themselves?

frick people my age.

No. You are wrong.

It happens.

Boomers are not the parents of millennials.

Sorry.

The youngest boomer is 57. Youngest

The youngest millennial is 25.

Do the math on the rest.

Boomers are shitty with data so they just resort to their singular personal experiences. Just read through this thread and you’ll see it over and over. A circle jerk of walking to school in the snow stories. Sorry it hurts your feeling that you got your house for cheaper. Weird that upsets you.

So for all you boomers just saying "work harder"... this is the ultimate "OK Boomer" moment...

For those of you hung up on min wage...

Use average income.

Today it's $51,480 so a factor of 5.47

That gets you a house of $128,272

That gets you a new car for $18,781.

So, you've just made a case for Make America Great Again.

What size coat do you wear?

Ok? So the youngest boomers would be 32 when the youngest millennials were born? Sounds about right to me.

Older millennials most likely have Boomer parents. Younger ones probably have GenX parents
