As a man of God delivering the Gospel for 40 years, I can tell you God looks at the heart. There was a reason Jesus said in the end there will be many he says "Depart from me for I never knew you" even though the called on Jesus and/or cast out devils in his name or feed the poor in his name.

You see, you can not be of God and advocate for ANY ABORTION, nor for ANY HOMOSEUAL PERVERT LIFESTYLE. And to boot, if you even vote those types in, you will need to repent fir the spirit of murder and evil perversions, or you will not make it into heaven.

They do not get it.

We call those "Six Flags Over Jesus" around here.

My church does not do this, nor do they celebrate it or tolerate it. We are instructed to love and help the sinner, but by helping them they do not mean that we allow them to pontificate from the pulpit or dance around in our congregations pushing it in our faces.

How do you feel about divorcees?

First show me an actual biblical based church openly promoting divorce complete with props and music.

Then ask again.

Acts 20:29-31: In his farewell to the Ephesian elders, Paul warned them, "I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be on the alert".
1 Timothy: Paul instructed Timothy to "teach these things and encourage everyone to obey them" and to oppose false teachers who would teach contrary to the sound teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachers were characterized by their arrogance, unhealthy interest in controversies, and use of godliness as a means of financial gain.

Well if Jesus said that one must exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees in complying with every dot and iota of the Levitical/Mosaic law, I too (as an atheist) have a hard time figuring out what these people are thinking. Any unnatural sex such as but not limited to dudes pumping other dudes in the arse was to have all offending parties receiving the death penalty.

You are right. It’s a separate issue. But Jesus also spoke of the plank in your own eye
He did. He was talking about hypocrisy over the same sin, not being sinless before calling out sin in others.

He actually said that once you repent (take the log out of your own eye), you can see clearly to address the speck in your neighbor’s eye. The implication is that we are allowed—commanded, even—to address the sins of others.

Christians are supposed to call out sin when we see it. There are many sins that can and should be addressed, yet that doesn’t mean we should remain silent about one issue until all others are addressed.

Religion is just organized mind control
Christianity is a religion centered on the historical reality of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who lived a perfect life, died a sinless death, was raised from the dead, and ascended into Heaven to reconcile guilty sinners to a holy God. He will one day return in judgment.

So you agree that divorced people who remarry are living in sin if not for one of those reasons? When Charles Stanley got divorced he said he couldn’t remarry as long as his ex wife was still alive.

first of all i want to thank our protestant friends for all the new denominations they've created the last 400 years and all their exciting new beliefs! great job guys! give yourselves a big round of applause.

if by "the church" i'm assuming you mean the catholic church and i can tell you we take a pretty dim view of divorce

And we know it’s true because it’s in the Bible, because the Bible is the Truth.

Never change, Foo, you hater of all the gods that the Bible says exists that the Bible says Yahweh will judge because he is jealous of them and they aren’t doing a good job of ruling the people group they inherited from El Elyon.

What conditions do you allow? Adultery is the only one I’ve ever heard of. The Bible is every bit against divorce as it is homosexuality.

Do you really need a list of sins to understand what sin actually is?

That's why I read the Bible on my own and go to a few YouTube channels for more context (I forgot what they're technically called).

So you read the Bible and understand it to do it your way? Help me? Sounds rather prideful.

Hebrews 10:25 - Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

The ones that are dying have devolved into that. Notice the gray hair. Meanwhile the younger generation or hungering for something very different.

The fool says in his heart, “there is no God” -Ps 14:1

I hope you turn away from the foolishness you keep spewing. One day you will enter into everlasting torment, deserving every bit of suffering because you not only have rejected your creator, but you try so hard to make others do the same.

Repent before it is too late.
