I went to Clays town hall in New Iberia last month. He is a real baw, place was full of libs trying to heckle him and accuse him of supporting Palestine genocide etc… and he handled it all with humility, respect (way beyond what was deserved), and civility.

He praised an irate individual who wasn’t making much sense and couldn’t really make his point and was being difficult and praised the American process where dissatisfied citizens get to raise their grievances to their representatives/ servants in our constitutional republic.

He spoke of his own faith as a humble servant of the lord.

I specifically asked him about the J6 congressional investigation and it has been closed some time ago. He talked about the obstruction and the extreme difficulty in making a case that would result in beyond a reasonable doubt convictions. He assured me however that most of those involved have been fired or forced to resign, and said that while we would all rather see them wearing orange that they would still have to face their maker and none of us really get away with anything in life.

He may make mistakes and everyone is not going to always agree with him but he came across as a sincere man of principles who felt strongly about protecting our constitutional republic as founded and who was doing is best to represent our interests.

I also don't doubt pain clothes police often enter protest groups dressed as protesters. But he's saying they instigated?

Unfortunately, it seems like a "you gotta trust me...I have seen the video" kinda thing. Yes, that's the allegation though.
