I have lived for a long time. I have seen a lot of stuff that I was not expecting to see. I have seen players get concussions, torn ACL, broken leg, etc. This is the first time I have seen a player get CPR on the field. I don't know what caused the incident but I am praying for him and those who love him.

What the hell is going on?
quote:
Gaines Adams was the fourth overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft but failed to live up to the hype during his time in Tampa Bay. As a result, he was shipped to the Bears for a second-round draft pick after his sophomore season. Adams suited up just 10 times for Chicago, and did not register a sack. He died of a cardiac arrest due to cardiomyopathy (an enlarged heart) in 2010 at the age of 26.
quote:
Chuck Hughes died of a heart attack in the late stages of a 1971 contest against the division rival Bears. He remains the only player to die during a game in NFL history.
quote:
On the morning of December 26, 2004, Reggie White was rushed from his home in Cornelius, North Carolina, to a nearby hospital in Huntersville, North Carolina, where he was pronounced dead. White had succumbed to cardiac arrhythmia.
quote:
On February 22, 2005, Reggie Roby's son, Julian, found him without a pulse in their Nashville home. The cause of death, although not officially reported, was believed to be a heart attack. He left behind four children and his wife Melissa
quote:
Chris Mims had it all. He was a stud football player who was selected in the first round of the 1992 NFL draft. Mims played in a Super Bowl with the San Diego Chargers. He had fame and fortune, but it all got away from him at the end of his eight-year NFL career. Back in 2008, Mims was found dead in his apartment with the cause of death being an enlarged heart. He was 38
Something's fishy. We've never seen anything like this before

not saying it the vaxx, but been watching foot ball for a long time and never seen cpr before.
Did any of yall watch NFL in the 80s? Dudes used to get blasted. I've seen way worse hits at higher rates of speed, and more squarely in the chest. Watch a highlight compilation of Ronnie Lott or Steve Atwater among others. They blew guys up, and never caused this injury.
Is it not remotely possible that this "vaccine" that has been cited as causing increase in cardiologic susceptibility to injury and vulnerability played a part in making the chest trauma caused by the hit more likely to cause his cardiac arrest?
Why can't it be both?
The "vaxx" caused him to have a mild case of asymptomatic myocardial inflammation that went undetected on his physical. That plus a freakishly timed trauma caused his temporary cardiac arrest?
That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
What seems unreasonable to me is the absolute circling of the wagons by the media in the aftermath of this tragedy. I mean... Foxnews doesn't show its number 1 late night show, so it can talk about this? I know it's a huge sports story, but it isn't like the Pope died. I am not trying to be obtuse, but it just seemed like it got more coverage than the Paul Pelosi story. That seems odd to me.

This has happened before in hockey. A player got hit in the chest with a puck and collapsed on the ice and had to be revived. All it takes is getting hit in the right ace and it causes afib. Very rare but it does happen.
Hockey player recovered and was back on the ice a week later.
OP trying to score points.

Commotio cordis is in play if you watch the angle and placement of the hit to his chest.
Nice try
quote:
Commotio cordis occurs mostly in boys and young men (average age 15), usually during sports, most frequently baseball
Damar was 24 and in peak physical condition while wearing something like this, designed to lock down upon contact

Without going into great detail about my knowledge of afib, this was not it. Afib is different than ventricular fibrillation known as sudden cardiac death.
That does raise another question, however. Assume the hit caused ventricular fibrillation, blood immediately stops flowing but in looking at articles it can minutes for the collapse

I remember this same post exactly 17 months ago. It’s still happening.
Yeah this could be anything. But y’all have said the same shite and peoples lives were ruined over this shite. Same exact thing the first time this happened.
This isn't really responsive. Something that has happened through most of my life (increased reporting of young athletes having sudden heart issues) is continuing to happen. Perhaps more. Perhaps from the vaccine. I admittedly do not know. I do know they're not honest with us about the vaccine.
But I'm not going to immediately assume - and not just assume but become completely consumed by an unwavering belief - that it's the vaccine. Taking that position doesn't mean I have to believe the prevailing institutional narrative that nothing has changed and all of this is more of the same, either.
But to add to my premise, anyone who is honest and around my age (30s) will admit that when they were a kid they never heard much about this but in my teens/20s it became much more common to hear about a HS football player or whatever dying in practice from an undiagnosed heart issue. That increased reporting started before COVID. Is this more of that, a continuation of increase of reporting on amateur athletes that we never heard about before, COVID, the vaccines, something else? I don't know, and I don't object to the questions. I object to an undying devotion to a narrative.
