IRGC is the issue….. all the ME countries are anti IRGC and anti the current Iran government….
Once you let violent ideologues run your country it is tough to change….note this for future reference to the Dems…

They’ve behaved better than anyone could’ve expected and they’re also watching how we’re handling this which is poorly. Trump needs to quit playing politics and do what’s necessary or maybe that’s not even his aim. Maybe he isn’t committed to fixing this problem. Whatever the case pussyfooting through this situation is a big mistake.

I appreciate the sentiment. You may be right about the first sentence. I question whether that is “strong enough” (yet) to justify the 2nd.

Even if this was true (its not) if full scale war between Iran and the other gulf nations broke out you would have pockets of Shia resistance all over as well as. elements of radical Sunnis that may nor be too keen on fighting with the US and Israel.....even if its against a common enemy. It would be like herding cats to form a US/Israeli led coalition of Arab states against Iran.

Sadly we don’t have the equipment for any of the objectives. Couple this with the nearly depleted SPR and spiraling oil prices, Trump will have to surrender in some face-saving way, probably an even more devastating MOU where Iran gets more money and the nuclear material that supposedly justifies all this remains where it is.

The majority of nations around the globe would love to see the US bleed out both economically and politically. The US is not liked because most nations around the globe have 100% embraced globalism and the US has still held off somewhat .....for now.
