I agree. These bastard fascists who try to change the Constitution just to suit their authoritarian goals make me sick. The Second Amendment clearly says that the right to bear arms is subject to being "well regulated." And yet these filth come here and assert that the "well regulated" clause doesn't exist because it doesn't support their authoritarian bullying. We aren't going to take it anymore.

Well regulated means well regulated. It is in the Constitution and we intend to stick with it.

Go regulate those militias. I will keep and bear my own Arms.

The whole reason the U.S. Constitution exists.

As long as everyone remembers we need to protect it from all enemies, foreign AND domestic, it will survive for a whole lot longer.

Even if he did, he’d find another way to contort wording to fit an agenda.

I think today, more than any other time in my life, personal freedoms are openly under attack.

I'm a Southerner born and bred but living up here in the Granite State leads me to appreciate it's motto, heralded by Gen. John Stark:

"Live Free Or Die!"

just think about the Patriot Act (and its progeny) alone

it’s like an old movie cliche that people would give up their freedoms for a sense of security

I have a coworker that thinks riding motorcycles is unsafe. He has said that because it is unsafe and motorcycle accidents can scar onlookers mentally, motorcycles should be banned from public roadways.

In the past I’m the type to laugh and say that’s silly, but more and more I feel it’s a societal obligation to stand our ground in public discourse when it comes to our freedoms being stepped on. Maybe that’s a little dramatic, but it’s where I think we need to be right now.

i agree

it's easy to do with the 1st or 4th when everything is going well

it takes strength to do it with the 2nd when something terrible happens

it's times like these when i realize just how much the progressive narrative has de-valued strength in society

You’re misusing the word. Do you thing the government has restrictions on this clock?

If you want to know what “regulated” meant to the founders, read VonSteubins guide. It’s will explain it to you.

you know, i didn't have the best upbringing and due to those factors i was eventually raised by women (my mom and older sister). it took a long time to realize that being raised to be so feminized was a big factor in so much of my frustration in life. strength and discipline are 2 things that are very important for a person like me and i had neither. the strength part was really hurt by being raised to be weak. my issues with discipline are much more complicated.

strength is just so important. weakness is easier in the short term but strength is what gets you through the tough times. discipline allows you to build a foundation to become strong and give you the freedom to live life.

you hear these emotional pleas and they are weak. now, if you SUFFERED from the recent events, it's fine to be weak and emotional. however, the people who didn't who want to use these irrational people as some sort of a barometer are pure scum. those who use these grieving people as figureheads of a movement to strip away a fundamental right they don't believe in are pure evil.

So liberals who have spent the last year declaring Trump to be a fascist now want him to take away everyone's guns?
