I have always been conservative minded, but I am having doubts and am starting to look toward shifting my opinions.

Here are some reasons that I am starting to consider supporting Bernie Sanders for President:

Government is (and has pretty much always been) being controlled by the rich and elite who are making laws and policies that maintain their status as the rich and elite. The rest of us working people are just pawns in their game of world domination. We don't really matter of affect them.

The rich and elite will do anything possible to maintain this control and power.

Billionaires and businesses not paying a fair share of taxes.

We elected Donald Trump to as President thinking that he would shake up the status quo, when in reality, he is a member of the same rich and elite who are perpetuating this cycle of oppression for everyone except for the super rich.

Would electing Bernie change anything?

Talk some sense into me....

I'm a Trump-hating Independent, but even I can't bring myself to supporting Bernie.

Electing Bernie will make it worse. Not only will will the rich maintain power while still not paying their fair share of taxes, while you and I will pay MORE in taxes.

It's inevitable that the rich will always pay less than their share. My goal is for me to not pay more than my share of taxes.

I would rather vote for Bernie than Hillary.

Not sure that I would rather vote for Bernie than Marco though.

Trump is definitely the best President of our lives

Yet you think electing Bernie will put the power to the poor? Bra, the difference between Capitalism and every other form of government is that Capitalism ensures we have control of our money and goods. The rest puts all decisions for our wealth and property into the hands of the very people you don't want having power. Since their sole purpose in life is to maintain and even grow their power, I am sure they will do everything to make sure we gain wealth and power ourselves.

Go ahead and vote for Bernie. You don't deserve to be on our side

Please define "fair share" in detail.

Also; first post since 2018, how about waiting until 2028 for the next one?

How are the rich negatively impacting your life? Why don't you get off your arse and work for something if you want it. Instead, you just want to vote for someone that might give you something and take away a bunch of your rights in the process.

Thanks for an opinion that makes some sense, but what side is it that I don't deserve to be on?
