Up Vote for YES
Down Vote NO
I think if they have their 'secret ballot' they have the 2/3 to convict easily
If they have an open ballot they don't get the 2/3 needed to convict
Once they think they've ruined his name they'll go after Trump, his family, and his inner circle first

Any Republican who doesn’t publicly tell us what their vote is going to be can be assumed to be a vote to convict.

When you’re making up a new ad hoc quasi-Constitutional process, just do whatever.

No. Pandora doesn’t go back in the box. It’ll be close potentially but they won’t have a 2/3rd vote. They have to recognize this is a losing precedent

The proceedings should be leaked

Sure because we know they will cheat. Its a win/win for the Ds - secret ballot to get a conviction then the votes "leak".
Not secret? There will be ~5 Rs that vote to convict solidifying the Ds margin next election cycle.

No, and I don't think they use a secret vote.
My guess, of course.

If it is a secret vote they will lie.

I really don't even care. They might as well at this point.

They need 17 GOP defectors. I doubt it.
