They are still in power at 80+ years old - going senile while running this country down the drain
80+ would indicate they are Silent Generation, not Baby Boomers.

Tell your parents, maybe they will disinherit you so you won't get their house, life insurance and assets!
This is not a generational conflict, it is an ideological conflict.

We don’t need people beyond the age of 75 in the Federal Government period. Including next POTUS.
My point was do not trash a generation when you don’t even know the “parameters” of what constitutes a “boomer”. The “parameters” are largely created by marketing analysts looking to sell a product.

I take issue with the Boomer grouping for these purposes because it covers too many years. The guys born in the upper '50s and all the '60s are very different. The world had changed sooo much.
They were just punk kids begging to go for a ride in my muscle car. By the time hey got licenses cars had no nuts and drugs was easy to get.

Must really suck to be so jealous of a demographic because our toys are better., and more expensive, than yours. You're all like the whiny, sniveling brat throwing a temper tantrum because no one will share their French fries with them. Blame your parents for raising a generation of me, me, mine, mine little Bastards that no one likes

Talk however you want. You are talking about Boomers though. I'm a Boomer. I'll take it however I want.
I'm taking it personal. Mostly because I lived through an era you jerks know nothing about. Because somebody separated us into groups it is open season on one group. Boomers, the chicken being picked on amongst chickens. Stupid!
Yeah, I take it personal mostly because it's all fricking wrong. People point fingers without doing the homework.
My feelings exactly.
IMHO it was the so-called Silent Generation ... the Jane Fondas, Abbie Haufmans, Gloria Steinhams, et al .... they were the hippies and activists assclowns.
All we Boomers have done is work our asses off.

My bad, I'm not paying attention to what I'm typing. Was referring to what Nixon did. When we became pure fiat, that's where they got the second wind after the Marshall Plan. We've been running on that vapor ever since with an inevitable conclusion coming up hard and fast now.
If you have assets, then that's fine and dandy. You're making value rapidly. If you're young and trying to accumulate something of your own, they are stealing it from you and have been without your permission since before they were born. And you're not one generation from every having some of that wealth passed down to you, you are TWO. Or THREE.

Are you a boomer? How much are you leaving your children if so?

And you continue to work long after you should have retired because you have no thought that the workforce needs younger people to come into the workforce and replace you to continue the process.
Give it up. Boomers are terrified of stopping work because then they have to confront death. They have been told that when they stop working, death is near. So, in their fear of death, they struggle for temporary immortality while denying younger workers of high earning positions.

You sure about that chief? I retired at 59, paid off my kids student loans, and helped them with down payments on their first houses. Maybe you’re just jealous and lazy.

When he started in on some boomer on his death bed wishing he’d only made it to Barbados I lost it because I know three different boomer age retirees who laugh about spending their nest egg on 5 vacations a year and not passing down anything.
When my father retired he immediately got a front license plate, "Spending My Kids' Inheritance" Why should I have taken issue with that? He earned all of that money himself. As a BOOMER, I did have some greedy motive to be offended like your greedy arse does.

This is like talking to a 70 year old child, which perfectly encapsulates the point.
