These groups are funded by 501 c3's. And the donors hide their names behind things like the Goldman Sachs charity fund (the law does not require GS to provide names).
I am not sure what legal mechanism they can use. Unfortunately, the whole 501 system is a big scam.

They should go after the liberal media that is promoting (reporting) on these paid protest in their "news" coverage. The media knows these are paid protests to gin up political dissent and 1. They do not report they are paid protest, and 2. They coordinate media coverage with the organizers of the paid protest.

Johnson/Thune are passing funding bills one right after another. The 'get out the vote' paid activist ballot harvesters will be out in full force this Fall.
