These riots are nothing more than 20 year olds craving excitement in their lives

Life is boring and they want to be a part of something slightly dangerous and exciting. The point of the protests whatever that may be is irrelevant. It’s fun as hell to dress up in black and go to battle, sure as frick beats sitting at home again playing Xbox all night. And to say they were part of a movement (the reason we see fake hate crimes) even better.
Remove the police and this will die out pretty damned quickly because it’s no longer any fun. 90% of the don’t give a frick about BLM they’re just showing up for the fireworks.

My idea of excitement at 20 was being a vagrant with a book full of acid. Kids these days need to riot internally like the good ol' days.

To a degree this is true. A lot of these people believe they are on the “right side of history” and want to be a part of some kind of revolution. The excitement is definitely a factor, but it is deeper than that. They want socialism/Marxism to be the end result.
Edit: it doesn’t help that they are on a shite ton of unemployment money netting around 40k a year for doing nothing and that being almost up they want it to continue. Also the boredom of the lockdown is helping it.

I guarangoddamntee you that 95% of them could not effectively describe their political gestalt.
They're just stupid kids parroting what seems to be en vogue.
Make this shite uncool and low status and it will go away. How that is achieved is the real question.

95% of them couldn't even define "socialism/Marxism" to save their smegma stained assholes.
The OP is spot on.

So whose businesses/neighborhoods do we sacrifice until it’s no longer fun?

Just need to hose them all with wet chicken manure. That will be all the excitement they need.

If they could just get laid this would all be over.
I do not volunteer.

The ones that still believe in the original cause are. But like anything that goes on this long involving this many people, messages get lost and the idiots show their true colors, making everyone trying to spark some positive change look bad by association.
I’m sure there are some Trump supporters that are decent people, but they associate themselves with someone who stands against everything this country was founded on and is tearing us apart from the inside. So now most of the country and most of the world look at them like some dumb hillbillies who only get their news from whatever doesn’t challenge or question anything the president does. That’s not healthy and it leads to boards like this that are full of conspiracy theory and misinformation.

The police aren’t exactly stopping them from destroying things as it is anyways.

I think the federal building in Portland begs to differ, and that’s just one obvious example.
If you pulled what resistance these idiots are finding off the streets, the “fun” would become a lot bigger and last a lot longer than you imagine.

Conspiracy and misinformation is a two way street bud. And same story with mindless/senseless rhetoric. Take for instance the presumptive Democratic nominee for President who chose to unabashedly refer to the current President as "the first racist President in history," a factually unsupported incendiary insult that has coincidentally come at the worst possible time for our country. It simply isn't possible to get dumber or conspiratorial or misinforming than that.

There are far more Trump supporters cognizant of his obvious faults than there are Biden supporters willing to acknowledge that they are trying to elect a man suffering from dementia.
I think Trump made a colossal mistake with COVID by not shutting Fauci up 3 months ago and I’m not reluctant to say so. I bet more than half of his voters are not huge fans of Trump but appreciate that he’s not batshit crazy and un-American like the Dems have become.
By the way, There is an order of magnitude more news/opinion on Fox News that runs counter to Trump/Republicans than there is in all of the rest of MSM that runs critical of Biden/Dems, and I really hope you’re not a consumer of MSM if you’re talking about misinformation from Right-leaning press.

Then why do you come to a board like this?
