All that matters is that they have control on the other side.

That’s all

The trouble with that one is everybody got the parts they use and the parts they don't...and everyone rather likes the parts they use.

His plan is to forward a budget based on 6.85T in spending and 4.9t in revenue.

Mocking someone for not depending on the government is an interesting choice.

"Everybody" doesn't mean a damn thing. People are stupid.

The government does a lot of things that aren't entitlements or social welfare yet people depend on them to live. Many of these things also could not be left to a profit-seeking organization either without a degradations in levels of service.

But yes, most people are stupid. However even the billionaires depend on the government to some degree, perhaps even more than many of us on here.

Well, one of them does...and Trump wants to primary him for being "disloyal."
And he backed Mike Johnson (who spent more than McCarthy, and backed MJ effort to suspend the debt ceiling into next year. But as we all know… it’s different when our guy does it.

We either need to cut back the function of government - much of which people like - or start taxing more.
It would take a tripling of taxes on the sacrosanct “middle class” to do it with taxes. No political party would survive it. It’s too late to “tax the rich”. You could tax every dollar in income over $1,000,000 and could not balance the current budget.

no. The 2007 deficit was a meager $165 billion. About 1/10th of what it is today. The entire GWOT (including NPV of veterans care) cost under Bush’s term was less than Obama’s first year deficit.

Bingo. The. mere threat of changing SS got the democrat majority and Nancy Pelosi into the SoH in 2006. THAT is when the crazy spending began.

They refuse to understand the basic facts.

They will just claim these facts are fake due to being outside of the NPC programming

Im sure it’ll trigger a few “Biden lover” and “who did you vote for?” comebacks.

Cool, but here's what you said:

People need to start depending on themselves, not the government.

Let me break it down for you:

What happens when you cut off some of your revenue streams but do not significantly change your expenditures?

If you think saying "the reason we have an exploding national debt is due to 40 years of tax cuts with no significant decrease in government spending" is the dumbest shite you've read in weeks, then you're the retard in this situation.
