Yeah. The only state in the country losing jobs is a pretty big Stat. Especially because he's simultaneously increasing taxes and expanding welfare.
His latest campaign ad literally says "this is our chance to keep expanding welfare" as a reason to vote for him.
The last thing this state needs is another wet noodle pandering political asshat. JBE and Abraham both fit that description.
Abraham looked pathetic in the last debate.

How is a man that is literally at the tail end of a lengthy career in medicine a career politician? Rispone would have the same number of years in politics as Abraham has now if he is elected to a term. Will he be a career politician after his first term?
He's a career politician in that he has already broken campaign promises and blatantly missed votes through this past year and last year at an unacceptable rate. Abraham is a creature of the DC beltway political machine. Not the kind of person you want running the show in Baton Rouge.
Rispone grew up poor and became a successful businessman, with 3000 employees and continues to run his company while running for governor.

Well and there was a big jump in august. I guess we’ll see if those numbers are verified. I hope they are and I would assume you would too.

Jan 2018 - Jan 2019 gained jobs
Feb-Feb gained jobs
Mar-Mar gained jobs
Apr-Apr gained jobs
May-May gained jobs
Jun-Jun no change
July-July Lost jobs which is the one month y’all always bring up
Aug-Aug (preliminary numbers) gained jobs
Care to share the numbers in percentage gained? When compared with peer states? And a breakdown of jobs gained by wage groups?
You won’t because they all look terrible.

Lol I won’t because that would take forever to do all that. If you want it, find it out or do the numbers yourself.

I don’t want it. I’ve already seen it.
If your peer states are gaining jobs at a 3-5% clip and Louisiana is gaining jobs that pay less at a 0.15% clip...that’s horrendous.

Then why didn’t you just post it lol

I’ll bump this thread and your post when I’m back at my computer and will share the data, with links.
But I don’t expect you to respond.

Career politicians
based on my research you don't know the meaning of words
quote:
Ralph Lee Abraham Jr. (born Sept 16, 1954). He was sworn into office in the 114th US Congress on Jan 3, 2015.
By your definition, Trump is also a career politician
lulz

I’ve looked at the overall raw data. I know it’s not great numbers. My only point is that it’s not all doom and gloom like y’all act with that one stat.

Louisiana is last in everything with the Edwards and Abrahams in charge.

He has influence with the political bosses in North Louisiana. Just like Scalise does in his area of the state. If you think power is limited to just formal positions, you're an idiot.

Having influence is FAR from being IN CHARGE.

Louisiana has one of the most valuable ports in the world and a gigantic O&G presence.
We are only poor because of legacy corruption.
None of these fricktards will change it.
We should be a ridiculously wealthy state.

I agree 100%. Too long have politicians ran this state, and country into the ground while enriching themselves. Abraham may not have been in politics that long, but watching the debates, he sounds like one of the good ole boy life long politicians. No thanks. Give me Rispone.

Federal congressmen have indirect control.

These Abraham shills don’t get it. Rispone 2019.
