Somebody, somewhere made the call to leave the weapons and equipment there. They (the intelligence) knew the taliban would eventually take over. They left them on purpose. Probably because they prefer the taliban to any other groups to fill the power vacuum

I expect that you are 100% correct.
When the American pullout is complete I bet well see an aligned government of Taliban and ISIS in Afghanistan just like we saw in the late 90s with the Taliban and Al Queda.
ISIS will be the "military arm" of the Taliban and will be fully funded by the Taliban and their allies (Russia and China....yes it will be different than 40 years ago in that respect)...ISIS will be free to cause chaos for years to come running out of Afghanistan ultimately leading to another event on American soil akin to 9/11.
At that point we might see the Battle of Tora Bora II....and the cycle will all happen again just like the Globalists want.

I wonder when posters say shite like this, do they realize how disrespectful it is to our Armed Services and how much those who served would loathe someone like you for saying stuff like this. I had a buddy who returned from Afghanistan about 1 year ago, and the literal moment reports of the explosions went off, he immediately texted in a group chat that it was undoubtedly the work of ISIS-K, it had their brand written all over it.
But tell us message board poster how you know so much more than our military folks who have been there in the trenches.

What fricking disguise? Do you think they have uniforms?

Pretty bad take. They’ve been fighting each other for years. We’ve been fighting isis-k for years.

I agree Taliban and ISIS will never align and Taliban does not want ISIS there. We did have something to do with ISIS growing even though I don’t believe it was intentional like many believe. We did arm moderate rebel groups to take down Assad, after many groups split or were taken over, ISIS did form as a result. Instead of going after Assad (which they kind of did) they went after Kurds and Iraqi govt, we had to jump back in and fight them off.

Yeah they are all one in the same. The Taliban will likely be the corporate face to the rest of world trying to convince people they are a legitimate government and attract that Chinese and Russian cash.
The militant wing will be called ISIS-K and they will do the dirty work that needs to be done.

Imagine telling everyone that the Taliban is in control of the checkpoints outside of the Kabul airport, then realizing that those suicide bombers made it through everyone of the Taliban checkpoints. How does that happen?

We should have done this from Bagram, not the middle of Kabul. But our leadership was dumb.
I just find it hard to believe there was no contingency planning for worst case scenarios. Primarily evaluating what could happen, with all the Americans and allies in country, by giving up this airbase. It's incomprehensible to me.

They’re just relying on the press not asking questions of biden like “why did you say we will attack ISIS-K installations and leadership? Didn’t you say they were all released from prison the last week?”

I'll grant you that their religious beliefs are fairly far apart....but I don't doubt there will be someone like Bin Laden that comes along that can get them to say "frick all that...let's kill Americans!"...just like before.
This is the global elite steering global history/global economics to repeat itself as it has done time and time again.
ETA The Taliban is smart enough to realize the "enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Do you think the Taliban was involved with Bin Laden in "killing Americans"?
Did you know that the Taliban actually made offers to the U.S. to turn Bin Laden over after 9/11?
