It can be done. It just takes the will to do so. I do question wether we have the will to become that barbaric again. But absolutely it can be done and has been done before. It will actually be easier thanks the advent of social media and the ability to trace posts. It will take a couple years of dedication but we could root out the undesirable elements.

What is the point? To completely eradicate all harmful acts by any police officer ever? That is impossible. No matter how much effort or money you put into that, there will always be the occasional bad apple who does bad things. Prosecute the cop, there are laws against murder. That is the resolution. Preventing something like this from ever happening again is impossible.

That's a true statement. A bad apple will be a bad apple regardless of how much and how encompassing the training. So I like what a previous poster said about more comprehensive background checks, perhaps including serious psychological assessments.
But that is immediately met with significant issues....smaller departments can't afford all that, plus those same type departments oftentimes have to take who they can get. But IMO significant action must be considered and taken to every extent possible, because this is the new reality for each such situation henceforth. Each next one will probably outdo the last, as well.
This guy's avoidable actions have literally cost yet more people their lives, as well as what will surely be a hefty bill for losses and liability all over the place once it's all said and done.

There will never be “social justice” because it’s too abstract a concept. There will always be poverty and those less fortunate. Most people work hard and build their wealth from nothing; others are lucky enough to win the genetic lottery and be born into wealth. There will never be a way to regulate that.

You don't think the biggest problem is making black people and white guilt riddled liberals accept and understand that black people are not victims?
That they create victims because they disproportionately commit all types of crime including interracial crime.
If you started telling black people the truth and started reporting on interracial crime truthfully.
It should be stressed that there is no such thing as systemic racism and that maybe black people would see the light and stop voting Democrat 95% of the time which would be an incalculable positive for America.
If they truly believe that white on black racism is a problem in America given the actual reality in this country white people should be the ones rioting.
I'm not giving any more on this issue. If you want to see signs of actual racism in this country you need look no further than affirmative action and racial hiring quotas and racial quotas in higher education.
I can't speak for every white person but if you give in any further than what white people have already done and the bullshite that we collectively have put up with over the last 50 years I have no other option than to consider you a fool.
I have one request either quit fricking crying about your victimhood status or start committing interracial violent crimes in a proportionate ratio to your goddamn population percentage and in relation to white on black interracial violent crime.
I'm serious I have had all I can take of it I think it's a fricking joke that we even put up with this shite for one second while we are the victims in nearly 90% of interracial crimes.
I am mentally and physically prepared to go to fricking war with you because this bullshite has gone on long enough.
I'm done I'm not going to continue to apologize for my whiteness because of the inferiority complex that you have.
I have never treated someone differently based on the color of their skin but apparently it is racist to be justifiably fed up.
