If Iraq had an armed civilian population and had mounted a guerrilla war, the result might have been the same as Vietnam. But they didn't, so Iraq said "bye".

Not surprising in the least, I own a several hundred myself. I actually don't know the exact number. Quite a fe of them are not fireable, but I have them.

If the guns can shoot people, they can vote. Surely they have a self-preservation instinct.
