Theory: Pence knew Flynn lied and pushed the issue

I think that Pence had information about the phone call from friendly leaders and so he pressed Flynn to give him information on it. Flynn being a good (and stupid) soldier gave Pence some details and left a lot out. Pence then makes a big public statement about what Flynn told him before anyone could correct the record.
Then all he had to do was sit back and wait for the big leak to the press, which he may have been involved with himself. Then act indignant.
Of course Trump knew about the sanction talk. Probably directed it.

Pence would never do anything that would undermine this administration especially when there's a trigger happy media that's desperate for one scalp against Trump and would make sure this stays in the news cycle for weeks without end.

So pence is frank underwood.....pence along with Paul Ryan (at the time...don't like his stance on ALL issues) is one of the few VPs that id be good with just as much as the top of the ticket. Liberals however

They're not going to unless they have absolutely no choice whatsoever. Bad things happen to political parties who's chief executives get impeached.
Trust me when I say that the good fortunes of Trump and the GOP are tied with each other and they're going to do everything they can to make this go away and try to avoid looking like hacks during the process.
